In 2010 and 1011, Arthur and Denise Ongley and a very small group (PHUN), performed at the 1st and 2nd Blue Mountains Ukulele Festivals.
After a long break, in 2019, the PHUNstars were formed, and have performed at every Blue Mountains Ukulele Festival since then. The PHUNstars are a small, but enthusiastic group, drawn from the main club that offers, to anyone that wishes to join, the experience of being part of a ukulele group and performing in public.
On Saturday 8 February 2025, the PHUNstars performed at the 2025 Blue Mountains Ukulele Festival. In front of an appreciative audience, a good time foe all! Here is a link to an audio recording of the set. Click on the file name to listen, or click on the button to download the file.
On 24 April 2023, the PHUNstars were the guest artists performing at the Pennant Hills Community Centre during the Monday Night Sequence Dance night. A great time was had by all! Thanks to Ric and Julia Shaw for the invitation and the photo below.
